Avelo to service 160,000 customers during winter holiday season
Avelo Airlines is making waves in the aviation sector, emerging as the frontrunner in operational reliability, especially during this bustling winter holiday period. The company plans to service over 160,000 travelers, which marks a hefty 43% boost compared to last year's figures for the corresponding period.
Data from market research firm Anuvu confirms Avelo's top position in both punctuality and smallest flight cancellation rate among all U.S. carriers, through the first 11 months of 2023. Anuvu's analysis encompasses all 12 principal U.S. airlines offering scheduled service.

As of November, Avelo Airlines has landed 83.3% of its flights within 15 minutes of the established arrival time – adhering to the Department of Transportation's (DOT) A14 on-time performance measure. This success rate outperforms the industry YTD average of 77.3%.
Furthermore, Avelo boasts a tremendously low YTD flight cancellation rate of only 0.1%, contrasted with the industry average of 1.4%.
